Opal is a major public art commission for One Leadenhall in the City of London, comprising a six-metre-tall bronze installation and the accompanying 4.5-metre Opal Bench. Commissioned by Brookfield Properties, the work creates a sculptural focal point within the reception atrium while providing a place to pause and gather.

Drawing on the material heritage and architectural character of the neighbouring Leadenhall Market, Opal reveals shifting tones and surface textures through its richly patinated bronze surfaces. The commission reflects Brodie Neill’s ongoing exploration of the relationship between art, architecture and public space.
