Focus, 2018

The Focus collection combines carved blackened oak with the organic richness of dark Welsh slate. The low-level circular coffee table features an aperture in the centre as a two-tier focal point while the deep grey slate acts as a window to frame the solid oak below. A side table with a slate top and an ebonised oak cross-joint base completes the collection.

Tetra, 2014

The Tetra modular shelving system is made from solid European oak or walnut and is available as a flexible storage system or as one of our pre-set compositions. The Tetra modular trapezoid cell can be used as a single unit or can be built up to create endless configurations to suit any space.

Alpha Stool, 2019

The solid wood Alpha stool elevates the biomorphic profile of its predecessor Alpha Chair. The footrest of the stool seemingly grows organically into the bridge and support of the back legs whilst maintaining a sinuous form that is lightweight and sculptural. The name Alpha is derived from the strong architectural gesture that gives the collection its inherent strength: the A-shaped structure.

Rotor, 2018

Inspired by the Reuleaux rotating triangle, the form of the Rotor stool is based on the intersection of three circles. The CNC-cut organic shape celebrates ‘the curve of constant width’ with the wood grain radiating out in six directions from the centre to create a structural pattern. Available as a versatile side table or comfortable stool with the addition of a padded vegetable-tanned leather seat.

Reverb, 2009

Hand-formed and mirror-polished from sheet aluminium, the single inverted skin evolves to provide function, yet is poised in a sculpturally dynamic pose. Inspired by the reverberation of sound, the Reverb Chair’s membrane flows outward before turning back into itself. Born from the pursuit to push materials to their limits, the fluting form is both seamless in structure as it is in surface.

Elements, 2016

The Elements table unifies three distinct geometries to form one function. The simple arrangement of a solid marble base and top, united by a stainless steel stem creates a carefully reduced form that is both elegant and anthropomorphic in silhouette. The almost primitive geometry gives the table a nimble versatility whilst being able to mix and match the tones of marble allows it to suit any interior.

Reverb Wire, 2010

A reiteration of the original solid-surfaced Reverb Chair, this is an ethereal chair that plays with the relationship between volumetric presence and structural lightness. The design is based on the form of a geometric vortex, a system made with steel rods that repeat to form a rhomboidal grid with openings of different sizes.

Portal, 2015

Set to be an iconic gateway to Tasmania’s Capital city, the Portal will be a beacon, a landmark, a meeting point, a place for rest and relaxation, arrival and departure.  The 8.5m tall sculpture depicts a falling droplet frozen in time as it touches the ground, flattening slightly to provide seating.

Glacier, 2011

Taking its name from a solid piece of ice suspended in motion, this swooping chaise longue has been created using pure, optically transparent glass. The once-molten glass, which has been slowly cooled over a period of several months, flows from the central core and counterbalances the outstretched planes of the overall piece. An edition of ten, Glacier is the perfect synergy of design and craftsmanship.

Pop, 2008

Pop is a dynamic table consisting of one seamless ribbon stretching to form the configuration of a table with an almost fuse like friction. From the 3 points of contact, the line skims around an orbit to create both form and structure. Conceived digitally and realised through CNC fabrication, the Pop table is coated in carbon fibre and finished in a striking electric blue.

Threefold, 2010

A sculptural light consisting of a single seamless surface which contours and folds into a three-way Mobius strip. Warm light is projected from within the undulations, deflecting downwards from the returning curve before continuing the endless cycle. Hand formed in satin aluminium and finished with a hint of colour, the never-ending form provides soft dramatic light within a striking centrepiece.

Clover, 2011

Clover is an ultra-contemporary LED suspension lamp with flowing lines that fold, expand and merge. Inspired by forms found in nature, the alluring three-dimensional structure calls to mind the organic lines of a clover leaf. The light source, hidden at the meeting point of the three petals, casts light onto the internal surfaces in a continuous play of reflections and rebounds.

Scuba, 2009

Scuba is an elevated seat spanning over 2 meters and fringed by sweeping sides that resemble the wings of a manta ray. The undulating form gives Scuba its self-supporting structure in a single three-dimensional surface. The raised backrest maintains overall rigidity with its concave cross-section that slowly opens as the swooping lines skim the surface of the floor.

Cumulus, 2013

Formed by Italian master glassblowers and finished with mirror polished details, the Cumulus is an illuminated flower bud-like sphere. Through a merging of state-of-the-art technologies with traditional techniques, a digitally simplified representation of nature navigates the surface with an undulating sculptural orbit. The versatile form is highly adaptable in its uses. As a floating suspension light, a diffused, ambient glow is dispersed.

Jet Desk, 2008

Jet is an energetic adaptation of a side desk.  The smooth graphite form swoops around to form the flat surface, from the front legs before converging to become the single back support.  A cluster of black Swarovski Crystals lines the inside of the legs to evoke the feeling of a precious jewel-like interior.
